Términos y condiciones – Ibiza Chef Villa
A legal disclaimer
These Terms & Conditions govern bookings and private chef services provided by Ibiza Chef Villa in Ibiza and Formentera. By requesting or confirming a service, the client acknowledges and accepts the conditions stated below.
All menus, services, staffing requirements, schedules and prices are confirmed individually according to the details of each booking. Any specific conditions stated in the quotation, invoice or written booking confirmation form part of the agreement between Ibiza Chef Villa and the client.
Bookings & confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed once the required 50% deposit has been received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The remaining balance must be paid according to the payment conditions indicated on the quotation or invoice.
Dates are not guaranteed until the deposit has been received.
Prices & VAT
Prices are communicated to the client before confirmation of the booking.
Applicable Spanish VAT (IVA) may be added depending on the type of service provided and will be clearly indicated on the quotation or invoice.
Additional services requested after confirmation may be charged separately.
Groceries & ingredients
When groceries are not included in the agreed menu price, the client may be required to provide a grocery advance before the service.
Additional purchases requested by the client may be charged separately.
We select fresh, high-quality ingredients whenever reasonably available. Specific brands, products or ingredients remain subject to local availability in Ibiza and Formentera.
Allergies & dietary requirements
Clients must inform Ibiza Chef Villa of all allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements before the service.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requirements; however, food is prepared in environments where allergens may be present. Complete absence of traces of allergens cannot be guaranteed unless specifically agreed in advance.
Changes to guest numbers
Final guest numbers should be communicated before the service.
Last-minute increases in the number of guests are subject to availability and may result in additional charges for food, staff or service time.
A reduction in guest numbers after the booking has been confirmed does not automatically entitle the client to a reduction or refund.
Service times & additional hours
The agreed price covers the services and hours specified in the quotation or booking confirmation.
Additional hours requested by the client or required because of significant delays to the agreed service schedule may be charged separately.
Additional staff, waiters, assistants or other personnel requested or required for the event may also be charged separately.
Villa access & kitchen facilities
The client is responsible for ensuring that the chef and any accompanying staff have reasonable access to the villa, kitchen and necessary facilities at the agreed arrival time.
The kitchen should be functional and have access to electricity, running water, refrigeration and basic cooking facilities appropriate for the booked service.
Significant delays or inadequate facilities may affect the service and could result in additional charges.
Cancellations
Cancellation conditions may vary depending on the booking, date, number of guests and services reserved.
Deposits secure the date and personnel required for the booking and may therefore be non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the client, subject to the specific conditions communicated at the time of booking and applicable law.
Any specific cancellation or refund conditions stated on the client's quotation or invoice take precedence.
Liability
Ibiza Chef Villa will provide its services with professional care and according to the arrangements confirmed with the client.
Ibiza Chef Villa cannot be held responsible for circumstances outside its reasonable control, including problems with villa equipment, electricity or water supply, severe weather conditions, transport disruption, unavailable ingredients or other force majeure circumstances.
Respect for staff & property
Clients and guests are expected to treat chefs, waiters and other staff respectfully.
Ibiza Chef Villa reserves the right to suspend or terminate a service in the event of abusive, threatening, dangerous or unlawful behaviour.
Photography & privacy
Client privacy and discretion are important to Ibiza Chef Villa.
Photographs of clients, guests or private properties will not be used for promotional purposes without appropriate permission.
Applicable conditions
These Terms & Conditions should be read together with the specific quotation, invoice and written booking confirmation provided for each service.
Where specific booking conditions have been agreed in writing, those specific conditions take precedence over these general conditions.
